A Scribe Note Dedication (to my dear friend Abby):
TodAy started with a room full of vampires, even Brilliant Mrs. Gill dressed out for the occasion; But that didn’t keep us from our dailY work.
We started with a journal called “All Eyes on Me;” a journal about a time we were on stage and all eyes were watching us. We should include every detail even down to the wAy we Breathed, (this is Because it was a sensorY journal).
People such as Tyler, Kayla, and Anne wrote about sports such As Basketball, soccer or others while Joe, LiBby, Sam, CarleY and I wrote about speaking, singing, or playing an instrument in front of a crowd. I think one other person read, but I can’t think of her name at the moment…oh well it will come to me.
We reAd some Bits and pieces of the CruciBle, while Mrs. Gill trYs to decide if the 3rd act is boring or not.
The characters are As follows: LibBy is playing ElizaBeth Proctor, Max is plaYing John Proctor, and Tyler is playing Reverend Hale.
A quick summary of today’s reading is that Elizabeth says that she thinks Abigail wants to kill her and take her plAce to Be with John Because he unknowinglY made an “unspoken promise” to be with her.
One example Elizabeth says is that John blushes when he sees Abigail in church but not because he is longing for her like Abigail might think But Because of his sin. SurprisinglY enough when Reverend Hale confronts Proctor about his lack of attending church, and makes him say the commandments he interestingly can name everyone…except adultery.
He tells Hale thAt ABigail told him that the sickness going isn’t Because of sillY witchcraft and we stop just as Giles rushes in to tell John that they have taken his wife.
