v Class began with prayer and announcements.
v After that we talked about where we would go if there were ever a fire.
v Matt then read his scribe notes from Friday. His notes mention Nick, and Nick began to wonder if there are any scribe notes he’s not in.
v Mrs. Gill told us that once again a fish died. This leaves us with one survivor, but my guess is that by the end of the week we will have no class pet.
v While correcting Matt’s scribe notes, Mrs. Gill saw that he sent them from McDonald’s.
v No journal today
v We talk about peer editing for a little while and then discuss our group project.
v Mrs. Gill asked us if we wanted to do our presentations tomorrow or Thursday. Of course, we all said Thursday.
v We then break up into our groups
v I didn’t want to end my scribe notes there because I thought it would be too short, so here are some things that happened while we were in our groups.
o Once again Nick proves to be an interesting group partner. He mentioned LA Noir, guys beating girls, and how people should burn the world.
o Nick and Drew tried to catch some flying bug.
o “You know what pleasures me? Police brutality on cops.” – Jeffrey
o I heard something about spider sense behind me and turned around to see Blake and Michael Kohlberg talking about it.
o Mrs. Gill asks about Michael Klein’s blind date. Michael jokes that the date was with Jeffrey and Mrs. Gill asks him if he’s serious. He wasn’t, it was actually with Brooke Miller.
v It’s almost time to go so people pack up and Mrs. Gill says how she hates it when people line up at the door.
That’s it for Period 2 class on September 6.
Homework: Presentations are on Thursday. Journals due tomorrow.
