I don’t believe blacks and whites can use the n word around each other without some kind of argument happening. There may be some people out there who would be okay with people using the n word and realize that it is not a derogative term today. There are many people out there who are trying to call white people out on racism whenever they can so if they were to hear a person say the n word they would accuse them of being racist. Also some people would take it as a huge insult and be hurt and have their friends stick up for them about it. Sometimes this could lead to violence, thus showing it would be hard for blacks and whites to peacefully use the n word around one another. -Kara N
Kelly O'Brien--I do not think blacks and whites could use the "n" word peacefully around each other. The "n" word as been known as an offensive word for so long, and I think it will continue to be offensive. There are certain words that are offensive to certain people. If somoneone said the "n" word it could offend one someone, and cause unneeded drama.
Joe Lawrence- In certain case scenerios I believe that blacks and whites can peacefully use the n word around one another. I think that if using the word in a general word to discuss the situation it is fine. I think that it becomes a proble mwhen you are directly calling someone it in a vulgar way, no matter what your skin color is. So I think if discussing the word yes between races it can be justified peacefully. If using it vulgarly between races then no it cannot be justified.
