From the Eyes and Mind of Michelle Silva
Class started
normally with a prayer by Mr. Chio, it went something like everyone being
perfect, but we all know I’m perfect so there was nothing new there. We also
heard on the morning announcements that people throughout the day would ‘die’
by the grim reaper, since every 40 minutes someone dies at the hands of a drunk
driving accident. Apparently this was too much information to handle for some,
and it helped me see just who couldn’t comprehend the easiest of things at 8am.
Next we learned that Nick wasn’t in class but his back pack was found in the
commons. This makes me wonder where Nicole is. We also notice that Zack isn’t
in class either; what a shame.
We then continued with daily
routine of the Journal with a topic of Scary Story. We were supposed to write
about what scares you, if you had a scary story, or make up a scary story. I
only remember one of the Journal entries, since I only figured out minutes
before that I was the scribe (apparently my name looked like Michael and was
chicken scratch to Mrs. Gill). I remember specifically Kelly’s journal entry of
how she was locked in the convent hall way by the hands of Michael Klein, and
how she cried to be let out. The only reason I remember this entry was because
I couldn’t really understand why someone would cry about that sort of thing (no
offense Kelly). But I guess she would have a reason to fear since ghosts do love
to feed on red headed gingers.
After the discussion of journals
we attempted to finish the vocabulary that we had started the other day. We
were unsuccessful. This brought us to the end of the class period where Mrs.
Gill wished us a wonderful weekend but said to be careful and to make good
decisions. What does she consider a ‘good’ decision?
