Class
begins. Mrs. Gill tells Amelia to do scribe notes. She doesn’t want to. I
volunteer s tribute! People start talking about… things. Now I’m bored. G says
were gonna start reading the Princess Bride. Time to sleep…
Lucy
starts singing L
We
start reading yesterday’s scribe notes… maybe borrow a few ideas. Mrs. Gill tells Mackenzie to confront Mrs. Kersting about something. Ha, good luck. I am mentioned too much in yesterday’s
scribe notes. Damn it Nina. Mrs. Gill says all great literature is sex and
death… just like marriage. Now she says Taylor is lady like. Haha, nope. Taylor tries to balance a pencil on her
nose…Gingers don’t have that ability. Steven and Adam remind Meredith about the
Amish Catholics. Mrs. Gill tells us to do our journal entry… let’s play the
waiting game… She did not know gaming
was an automatic detention. WHO TOLD HER?!
Time
to be quiet….
Taylor
needs a charger. Red hair that bright needs to be charged. People start their
own conversations. I don’t care enough to pay attention. Mrs. Gill tells
Jacquelyn about parts that were cut out of the book. The person who wrote this
book needs to be cut. We’re not very quiet. I hear music playing in the
background. As if I already didn’t need a reason to sleep.
It’s
national Mean Girls Day… I don’t want to live on this planet anymore. It’s quiet now and I’m scared… this class is
never quiet. Mrs. Gill laughs with herself. Life can be lonely. Nina says she
loves this class. I disagree with her opinion. It’s okay though. I can’t force
her to be right. Taylor raises her hand to ask a question… For Christ’s sake
she’s standing right next to you. Mrs. Gill nods her head and pretends to
understand the question. It’s quiet again… so this is what it’s like to be
awake in class. Mrs. Gill wags her finger at Mackenzie and tells her no. Odd
noise in the background...
Lucy: What is that?
Jacob:
It’s your conscience.
Lucy
doesn’t have a conscience; she has a spiritual equal rights activist. Now
Mackenzie is singing L Singing must be contagious… Diseases
are contagious. Kory has the book so close to his face I think he’s trying to
listen to the words. “Oh Princess Bride, Tell me your secrets”. The quiet
continues. I’m bored. I don’t want to play this game anymore. Mrs. Gill breaks
the quiet… Thank God! Wait… She’s playing a mean girl’s clip… I feel betrayed.
Class
is over. Off to sleep in math! *Flies Away*
