was the first class of the day so we had prayer over the intercom. We then
moved onto our journal. The prompt was about John F. Kennedy and the song that
was playing was from Hairspray. Joe then read his journal first. He wrote about
how Kennedy was from Persia and moved to Texas but it was too cold. So he then
moved to Denver to get to a warmer climate and decided to become president.
Anne then read her journal next. She
wrote about a lot of facts about Kennedy that she knew form her report on him
in eighth grade. Carly read last and she also wrote facts about Kennedy. After
this Anne, Tyler, and Frankie all had to read their scribe notes.
We then went over a document about commas that
was later sent to us through dyknow. The document contained ten rules on how to
use commas correctly. After going over this, we were given an assignment about
commas and it had our vocab words on it to help us for our quiz, which is Thursday.
Class then ended.
