Jake Gaal's halloween scribe notes

We began class with the usual prayer. Class was a little shorter due to the fact that there was a costume contest earlier in the morning. After prayer we began to journal on our Halloween traditions. Along with the journal we listened to Monster Mash and the Adam’s Family theme song. Maddie Marchetto wrote about how she used to go trick or treating and to parties when she was younger. Emily Thorn wrote about her family tradition of going to the pumpkin patch. She also wrote about how her family made their own costumes. Maddie Russell told the story of when her and her two brothers aimed laser pointers at their neighbors and got the cops called. Mrs. Gill shared with the class about how her brother decorated the house as a haunted house when she was younger. After journaling, we began to work on the definitions from the Scarlet Letter. We finished the vocab words right before the class ended. Sadly we went another day without discussing the Scarlet Letter.
