Blake's Scribe Notes

Beginning of Class

Today Monday September 19, 2011 we started English class pretty normally with a prayer.  Afterwards Mrs. Gill announced that today there would not be a journal assignment.  We went on to read over Katrina’s scribe notes.  They were in the form of the Candy Land game which was pretty cool and creative.   Mrs. Gill complemented her on her creativity along with the rest of the class.  We now opened our computers and went to turnitin.com.

Turn it in/ Our Essays

Now Mrs. Gill explained how she graded our Last High School Essay papers and that we can go to turnitin to see comments she made on.  As we all did this she handed back a paper copy of the grade we received.  Some of us received our Literacy Memoirs and some of us didn’t because she left them behind at her house.  However Nick has yet to make and obnoxious shout out today which is kind of worrying.  She continues on to explain that we can revise both of our papers and it cannot hurt our grades.  It is due Friday and any grading sheet, printed report off turnitin, and final revised copy are to be turned in.  Mrs. Gill also explains that on edline she placed a document about the required format for her papers.  She continues on and explains the importance of backing up our work and even suggestion us to us dropbox.com.

Podcasting Assignment

Explains we must resend our files so she can listen to them.  This is done by opening up your audacity file and under file click export.  Now you must save it as a MP3 file.  We turned these files back into Mrs. Gill through DyKnow.

Crucible

Mrs. Gills announces the parts we are given in the Crucible.
