Class will start with everyone coming into the classroom as normal. Kelly will ask if the class can go outside; you and Zach will join in. Mrs. Gill will say no, but don’t be disappointed. It will happen soon. Jeffrey will read his scribe notes.
The journal prompt will be called All Eyes On Me, where you are to describe a moment when the attention was on you. Oh, and you have to start In medias res or in the middle of things. Kelly will be the first to read, she wrote about how embarrassed she was to speak in public. Matt will write about when he spilled a smoothie on someone’s new shoes. Michael will write about bombing an improv scene about robbing a bank. Megan writes about trying to do a cart wheel at the pep rally. Emily reads about a level six gymnastics routine and messing up.
Michelle writes about a gymnastics floor routine. Anne reads about being in an accident at the beach. Katrina reads about a speech. Andrew reads about getting burnt. Kristen will write about doing some awesome dancing. Gina will also read about dancing at a game. Nick writes about shouting, “and also with you,” in the middle of church. You will read about your greatest dodge ball triumph. The class then unanimously agreed that Joe is the High School Dodge Ball King.
Then the Class will read The Crucible from pages 60 – 74.
