A Scribe Notes Story

by Will Dacus

This is the story of Mrs. Gill's period 4 English class. Today was no different than the usual. We do our normal prayer with the “Hail Mary” and the “Glory Be” and then move straight on to our next event. We have the scribe from yesterday, Anne Donahue, who did her scribe notes as pictures that she picnicked (or however you spell it). She told the story of the day that I missed. After the former scriber went, we moved on to our journal which was "Dream Dialogue." As we journal we listened to “Just a Dream” by Nelly. Kristen reluctantly read her journal about how Edward Cullen was a creepy stalker who wanted to eat her. Cody and Sam could not figure out to what to write about so they got out of reading… this time. Joe wrote about the dream where a guy ate a purple watermelon that then proceeded to get up and take his money, then invest it and how the stock market crashed into its house. Katy was in Reagan Cole’s dream and was freaking out about her hair. She wanted to mess with it and there was something about zombies. Anne wore a power ranger costume with a friend to an awesome party and got kicked out of Wal-Mart. Yesterday we started The Crucible and were given roles in the play. Katy thinks that her role is more important than mine, HA! We began Act 1 and Mrs. Gill read a lot of the opening part but ended up summarizing the end of it. We ended class with Kate not wanting to do a Jamaican accent and with everyone trying to do their own accents. This is the story of period 4 English. You’re welcome.
