Michael Klein’s Scribe Notes

English class today was exactly one minute shorter than every other day, due to the fact that we started at 8:53 am and not 8:52 am. Class quickly commenced with a discussion over Jeffrey Dahmer, a serial killer and cannibal. At this name, our own Jeffrey Seib perked up and surely had volumes of information on the topic at the ready, but he was quickly stifled by a snide remark from Mike, saying that Jeffrey Dahmer was “My kind of guy”.
We moved onto Mike’s scribe notes for the previous day. Mike’s scribe notes summarized the previous day and mentioned that we went over the scribe notes from two days ago. Mrs. Gill succeeded in murdering Mike’s scribe notes by leaving out the creative twist, a gorgeous and realistic drawing that is yet to be discovered.
The class then moved onto the journal for the day. Mrs. Gill played a cruel joke with the journal slide and inserted a scary witch animation, which caused Andrew and Matt to yelp with fright. After moving past this disturbing animation, we wrote about our beliefs in witchcraft to the sounds of Blink 182’s “Up All Night”. Katrina wrote about the Wicca religion, and Blake stated that he did not believe in witches, but he would like to be able to ride on a broom and use magic. Jennifer told the class that she thought that witchcraft was a way to blame bad luck and misfortune on certain people, and Michelle regaled us with stories of her experiences with a Ouija board.
After journaling was complete, Kristen raised her hand to ask how to make Audacity function properly. Mrs. Gill said that you press the red button, talk, and press the red button again, which caused Kristen to question her own intelligence.
Mrs. Gill then introduced The Crucible. Jeffrey was the only one who had any idea what she was talking about when she made reference to McCarthyism, and Mrs. Gill subsequently terrified us by flashing a number of lengthy assignments on the board, only to say that they weren’t for us. After the discussion concluded, we researched topics for powerpoint slides while Annie suspiciously left the room to go to the office. Class concluded at 9:40 AM.
Homework for today is to record your completed podcast.
P.S. Not to break anyone’s streak or anything, but do you notice who is NOT mentioned in these scribe notes?
