Jeffrey Seib's Scribe Note II

September 28, 2011 Scribe Notes

Once again I was blessed with having one of the shortest days on the schedule; hence I do not have to write as much. The day started out a little bit out of the ordinary. There were no scribe notes, and instead of having a class prayer Mr. Chio said one over the intercom because it was the first class of the day. The one normal thing we did do yesterday was journaling.  The prompt was The Other Woman. We were supposed to write about Abigail Williams and Elizabeth Proctor meeting in the village and record their conversation. I have heard the song we listened to while we were writing, but I do not recall the name. At the end of the journaling, as usual, some people read about what they had written.  Nick wrote something about having someone’s throat slashed, Kristen had something about fighting over being a witch, and Zach had the two ladies fighting. Right after journaling, was the perfect time to begin reading The Crucible. Michael and Blake were exempt into the hall to rehearse for some part later in the story. We read pages fifty-five to sixty in act two.  At last we stopped reading two minutes before.  Then class ended.
